Stacey Horton began leading our congregation in music and worship through the encouragement of a faithful church member who sensed God’s leading.  Stacey serves the church as Music Director, while coordinating and developing the many elements of each worship service with the pastor and instrumentalists.  Just recently, she has accepted responsibilities to coordinate communications across the church programs. 

      Together with her husband, Dennis, the Hortons raise their family in this rural area between Bay City and the coast.  Stacey said, “I love to sing, and I am still in awe that I get to lead others to worship the Lord through song.”

      The lyrics of her favorite hymns strengthen her faith and fix her focus as she serves. The song, “Because He Lives,” gave her courage as she raised her two boys in an uncertain world.  “My Lord is Near Me all the Time” reassures her heart each day of her continuing journey with Jesus.
